Lead Auditor Courses

The goal of  Lead auditor training course is to provide the knowledge and skills needed to perform first, second, and third-party audits of ISO management systems against ISO 9001/45001/14001/27001, as applicable, in accordance with ISO 19011 and ISO 17021. There will be a mix of lectures, discussions, exercises, and cooperative learning. Active learning will concentrate on case studies and scenarios relating to the use of QMS 1st, 2nd, and 3rd party audits. Delegates will participate in a variety of individual and group activities throughout the course, which will be assessed through continuous delegate evaluation. Finally, at the end of the course, a summative comprehensive assessment will assess subject matter comprehension.

This course is designed for those who want to learn how to audit an organization’s ISO 9001-based management system as a third or second-party audit. Students who pass the continuous assessment and the 2-hour closed book exam will receive a Certificate of Achievement. This course meets the training requirement for certification as a CQI  registered QMS Lead Auditor/Auditor, according to CQI policy.
